- My name is Liz. I used to study Economics in New England (because variables and extreme weather bring me satisfaction); before that, I lived on an unpaved road in one of the square states, where I mostly read things. Now, I live and work in Los Angeles, with my breathtakingly witty husband and our dog, who I suspect may actually be a troubled Eastern European poet. I love The Economist, bluegrass, socializing over Mexican food, and spending time in the desert.
